HAMPTON EMERGENCY SQUAD - NEW MEMBERS WANTED!

The Hampton Emergency Squad is always looking for new members! Members will receive free training, uniforms, and the satisfaction of providing a needed service for their fellow residents.

The Hampton Emergency Squad serves Hampton, Glen Gardner, and parts of Bethlehem and Lebanon Townships. For more information, visit their website at www.13rescue.org or call 908-537-4959 (leave a message), or call HES President, Elaine Engel at 908-310-2342 or Robert Riviera at 908-303-8567.

The Hampton Emergency Squad meets the 1st Wednesday of every month at 9 Wells Avenue in Hampton, NJ.

VETERAN'S RECOGNITION PROGRAM

The County of Hunterdon is forwarding care packages to those presently serving their Country overseas. Anyone interested in contributing, may drop their donations off at the Glen Gardner Borough Hall, Monday through Friday, 9:00a to 2:30p. Click on the link below for donation ideas:

The County of Hunterdon has also developed a Veteran's Recognition Program which will recognize County employees, residents, their family members and friends who have served or are presently serving their Country in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, or any other recent conflicts.

One special recognition is a photographic display in the County Administration Building located at 71 Main Street, Flemington. Please submit photographs, along with the name and current address of any County employee, family member, friends, or other County residents who have or are presently serving in the above conflicts. Digital photos may be sent to personnel@co.hunterdon.nj.us or mailed to the County of Hunterdon, c/o Human Resources Department, 71 Main Street, PO Box 2900, Flemington, NJ 08822. HAGEDORN PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL - AUTOMATED COMMUNITY NOTIFICATION PROGRAM

Borough residents interested in participating in the Automated Community Notification Program offered by Hagedorn Psychiatric Hospital should click on the link below for more information and to be added to the program.

COLLECTION OF OLD & UNNEEDED CELL PHONES

Donate your old and unneeded cell phones! Drop your phones off at the Borough Clerk's office during normal office hours. We will be sending these phones to the Secure the Call Foundation for reprogramming allowing access to 911 services. In turn, they will distribute them to domestic violence shelters, senior centers, neighborhood watch groups, school crossing guards, and other agencies with an immediate need for 911 access.
