YOU CAN NOW PAY YOUR PROPERTY TAXES AT TDBANK!!

As an added convenience, the Borough of Glen Gardner is offering a new service to its taxpayers!

In addition to paying your real estate taxes in-person at Borough Hall or mailing your tax payments directly to Borough Hall, taxpayers can now pay their real estate taxes in-person at the TDBank branch located at 200 Main Street, Glen Gardner or at the TDBank, One Royal Road branch in Flemington during their regular business hours. In-person payments are accepted up to the branch’s close of business on the 10th of the month following the due date. (Example: due date 2/1/09 - bank will process payments up to 2/10/09.) You must include your tax stub when making in-person payments at TDBank or when mailing your payment to TDBank, P.O. Box 2480, Flemington, New Jersey, 08822. Your payment must be exact to the amount on the tax bill - any discrepancy may cause a delay in the receipt/deposit of the tax payment and a tax payment late fee charge may be incurred.

WARM WEATHER BRINGS REMINDERS ABOUT SAFETY!

The NJ State Police, Perryville Station, would like to remind you to lock your car doors and close sunroofs when parking or leaving your car. Also be sure to close windows and lock the doors of your homes when you are going to be away from your house. Warm weather and longer daylight hours is a welcomed time of year, but it is also the busiest time of year for break-ins and burglaries.

If you are planning to be away from home for an extended period of time, consider completing a Property Check Form (click below) and having your NJ State Police officers from the Perryville Station do periodic checks of your premises.

COLLECTION OF OLD & UNNEEDED CELL PHONES

Donate your old and unneeded cell phones! Drop your phones off at the Borough Clerk's office during normal office hours. We will be sending these phones to the Secure the Call Foundation for reprogramming allowing access to 911 services. In turn, they will distribute them to domestic violence shelters, senior centers, neighborhood watch groups, school crossing guards, and other agencies with an immediate need for 911 access.

For addition information about the Secure the Call Foundation, visit their website at www.donatemycellphone.org or call 888-883-6628.
