Trash it Safely
SANITATION PICK-UP
Sanitation is collected every Monday, except Holidays, in which case sanitation will be collected on Tuesday.
REMINDER ~ NJ LAW: ELECTRONICS CANNOT BE PUT OUT AS TRASH!
Allotted Amount = 2 (two) 35 Gallon Trash Cans or 4 Bags.
Stickers are required for additional trash or materials not part of the standard trash pick-up. Stickers can be purchased at the Borough Clerk's Office, Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 2:30PM or send a SASE with a check payable to the Borough of Glen Gardner.
Sticker Price - $2.00 each or 6 for $10.00.
Christmas tree pickup on Fridays beginning 1/6/12 ~ 2/10/12.
Annual leaf pickup on Fridays beginning 10/19/12 ~ 12/7/12 (no pickup 11/23/12).
Refrigerator & AC Freon Removal.
$25.00 Sticker can be purchased at the Clerk's Office.
Regular stickers are also required.
DUMPSTER RENTALS
A three (3) yard dumpster is available for a fee of $85.00.
Call the Borough Garage at 908-537-4510 for scheduling.
The fee is paid at the Borough Clerk's Office.

Sanitation Policy
We are happy to report that plastics #1 through #7 may now be included in your recycling!
All recyclables can go in one container: glass bottles and jars, metal cans, plastic bottles and containers (marked #1 through #7), junk mail, newspapers, magazines, and cardboard.
Newspapers and cardboard need not be tied, however make sure they are secured so they do not blow around on windy days.

Hazardous Waste: Motor oil and other hazardous waste must be taken to the
County Garage only. Call 908-788-1110 between the hours of 8:00 am and
4:30 pm for information and hours.
When a borough holiday falls on a Monday, sanitation will be picked up on Tuesday.
